About me

Hi! I'm Lindsay, the owner and artist here at Lindsay Satchell Designs. My small business began 20 years ago with just a few simple watercolor paintings that reflected my love of yoga. A few years later I added several Pilates illustrations, and since then my shop has grown to offer a wide array of yoga and Pilates images.

My illustrations are first created with watercolor paint and ink. I aim to represent the poses energetically and creatively, keeping the brushwork loose and minimal. My nature illustrations are more detailed, created from a place of inspiration and admiration. The prints I sell are faithful reproductions to the originals.

I hold a Master's degree in Fine Art from Wayne State University. My work has been published in healthcare journals, illustrated books, and was recently featured in a series on HBO. I live in Asheville, North Carolina where I enjoy yoga and Pilates, hiking, and spending time with my family.
